​Program Objective


This full-time program has been specifically designed for students who are interested to work in the area of Human Resource Management Students will be exposed to a variety of courses in the area of business and human resource management.  In addition, students will take 5 courses in English and Communications.

The program is offered in a smart partnership with the International University of Malaya - Wales (IUMW).  IUMW is owned by the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and the University of Wales, United Kingdom.  The Diploma in Human Resource Management program is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

Career Prospects

Students will be able to work with companies involved in business and industry.  There is much demand for people trained in this area. 

Duration

The program duration is 2 years + 4 months.  Students will need to take 27 courses to complete the program. The courses that students need to complete are as follows:

Class Schedule

Students will take 3 to 6 courses every semester.  They will attend 9 - 18 hours of lectures every week based on their respective lecture schedule. 

Examination

Examinations will be held at the last week of each semester. 


Award

The Diploma in Human Resource Management will be awarded to students who successfully complete the program. 


Teaching Methodology

This program is taught in English through lectures, discussions, presentations, projects and case studies. 

Degree Studies


Students who successfully complete the diploma will receive exemptions and can proceed to complete the Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Human Resource degree in about 2 years. The degree can be completed at the International University of Malaya - Wales in Kuala Lumpur.

Students also have the option to transfer to our partner universities in Australia, New Zealand or the United States to complete their Bachelor's Degree.
